Fully respond to the challenges of high temperature and high load.
On June 27, the State Grid Henan Zhengzhou Power Supply Company conducted drone inspections and visual monitoring of important transmission lines such as the 220 kV Zhengqi Line, to monitor the operational status of the lines in real-time. The company is fully prepared to meet the challenges based on the actual conditions of the power supply side, grid side, and demand side, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power grid and orderly power supply during the summer.
Transition from coal power to green energy
In the heart of the Tengger Desert, over a million solar panels are absorbing energy from the sun on the endless yellow sand. Beneath the solar panels, green seedlings are thriving in the sand fixed by grass grids. Inside the desert experimental greenhouse, tomatoes, peppers, watermelons, and other fruits are bearing abundant harvests.
The three major corridors are gradually taking shape.
On the map of China, drawing a straight line from Heihe in Heilongjiang to Tengchong in Yunnan forms the famous "Hu Huanyong Line." At both ends of this dividing line, the distribution of energy is high in the west and low in the east, with a huge gap. Over 80% of energy resources are distributed in the western and northern regions, while more than 70% of energy consumption is concentrated in the eastern and central regions. Effectively utilizing and leveraging the advantages of energy resources in the west over long distances is key to determining the success or failure of China's clean and low-carbon energy transition.
