SF6 Density Online Monitoring System (State Grid Henan Electric Power Company)
Project Background
Currently, substations, especially GIS substations, have a large number of SF6 gas pressure gauges. The accuracy and timeliness of pressure gauge data monitoring directly affect the safe operation of equipment. Currently, the monitoring of SF6 gas chamber pressure mainly relies on maintenance personnel to periodically record data. When a leak is detected in the gas chamber, the recording frequency significantly increases, even to once an hour. With the advancement of unmanned operation and maintenance methods in substations, manual recording can no longer meet the needs of daily work.
Project Overview
This project establishes an online pressure detection system for SF6 gas based on MEMS sensor technology. By installing pressure sensors in the SF6 gas chamber and collecting the data measured by the pressure sensors, the data is sent to the monitoring backend system in digital signal form. This method effectively enables online monitoring of SF6 gas pressure in GIS devices within substations and implements trend analysis and alarm functions.
Project Significance
lReal-time monitoring of SF6 gas density in the gas chamber to promptly detect equipment defects.
lTrend analysis of SF6 gas density in the gas chamber to identify potential equipment failure risks early.
lComparison and verification with existing SF6 gas density relay readings to identify defects in instruments and sensors.
lProvide effective information support and suggestions for management decision-making.
lImprove the safety level of equipment and ensure the stable operation of the power grid.
