Report on the seminar on cogeneration long-distance low-energy centralized heating technology
In order to implement the spirit of the 'Winter Clean Heating Plan for Northern Regions (2017 - 2021)', promote the full coverage and healthy development of combined heat and power (CHP) in our country,China Electric Power Science and Technology NetworkOn March 20, 2018, a seminar on 'Long-distance Low-energy Consumption Centralized Heating Technology for Combined Heat and Power' was held in Taiyuan, inviting 24 experts to give speeches on long-distance low-energy consumption centralized heating technology, planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operation, and to visit the Taigu heating project.

In 2017, the Taigu centralized heating project site exchange meeting was held in Taiyuan, efficient and pragmatic, with only one week of preparation, 15 experts gave speeches, and 142 people attended, exchanging comprehensively and systematically on planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operation, and conducted a field visit on the last day before the heating ended, March 31. The China Electric Power Science and Technology Network recorded the entire meeting and visit, produced high-definition video hard drives, uploaded them to the internet, especially converted them for mobile use, widely disseminated, set a model, and led the trend of long-distance low-energy consumption heating network construction, jointly contributing to the combined heat and power in our country.
In 2018, we gather again in Taiyuan to share new operational data from the past year.
The demonstration in Gujiao is flourishing, which is gratifying. The scope of this meeting has expanded to long-distance heating projects in cities such as Jinan, Shijiazhuang, Yinchuan, and Zhengzhou, becoming a hot topic, focus, and point of attention. We will have the honor to listen to the wonderful speeches of 24 experts including Director Xu Dingming, Academician Jiang Yi, and Director Feng Yijun, who uphold a warm, rigorous, and serious style, carefully revise and polish their PPTs, extract core and key technologies, and repeatedly refine and innovate, striving to present a technical feast for everyone.

At the same time, I apologize to those present and those who could not attend. Due to the venue's custom of 168 seats, later registration restrictions were implemented, and some units could not attend or reduced their numbers; despite this, the actual number of attendees still exceeded 240, becoming the highest number of participants in recent years for combined heat and power meetings in our country, so we had to add seats, making it inconvenient for everyone to enter and exit.
The National People's Congress today concluded. Riding the east wind of the two sessions, I hope to join you in embarking on a new journey for combined heat and power in our country and create new achievements!

On this beautiful spring day, we gather in Taiyuan to participate in the 'Long-distance Low-energy Consumption Centralized Heating TechnologySeminar' exchange. On behalf of China Energy Construction Shanxi Institute, I warmly welcome all leaders and friends who have come from afar, and sincerely thank all colleagues who have long supported the development of China Energy Construction and Shanxi Institute.。In recent years, the national emphasis on air pollution prevention and control has increased, and the demand for clean heating in northern regions has become increasingly urgent, with long-distance heating from power plants receiving more and more attention. The long-distance centralized heating projects of combined heat and power have expanded the heating radius of power plants, fully utilized the waste heat of power plants, and achieved significant energy-saving and emission-reduction effects. The Shanxi Institute has made many positive explorations in this regard, participating in the implementation of the long-distance heating project from Gujiao Power Plant to Taiyuan, which has achieved good social, environmental, and economic benefits; participated in the preparation of the clean energy heating implementation plan for Shanxi Province, and conducted in-depth research and analysis of the winter heating situation and resources in Shanxi Province with the Shanxi Provincial Environmental Protection Department and Development and Reform Commission, initially drafting the clean energy heating implementation plan for Shanxi Province; and planning the long-distance heating project from Huo Zhou to Linfen, while the long-distance heating project from Yanggao to Datong is actively being promoted.
I hope this meeting will better promote the technology of long-distance waste heat heating from power plants and play a greater role in clean energy heating in northern regions as soon as possible.
