CCTV News: The country's first government-enterprise cooperation dual carbon center for electricity is officially put into operation.

Yesterday, the country's first government-enterprise cooperation carbon neutrality center for electricity was officially launched in Tianjin.

The carbon neutrality center for electricity integrates big data from the government, enterprises, and research institutions, gathering relevant data such as production capacity, output value, and emissions from enterprises. Based on this big data, the center calculates carbon emissions based on electricity consumption and has developed seven specialized application scenarios, including carbon emission verification and corporate carbon reduction consulting, providing concierge-style services for carbon emission management for both the government and enterprises. Currently, the center has attracted over 20,000 enterprises, covering 19 industries including manufacturing, wholesale and retail, and real estate.

Wang Weichen, Deputy Director of the State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Development Department: "The carbon neutrality center for electricity has built an integrated platform for government, enterprises, and academia. Using this platform, we can tailor energy efficiency analysis bills and carbon reduction enhancement plans for enterprises, helping them better achieve low-carbon transformation."

The reporter learned that the center also has a joint innovation workstation for academicians and experts, playing an active role in the transformation of innovative achievements in the carbon neutrality field, the cultivation of international standards, and the training of leading talents.
