Fully respond to the challenges of high temperature and high load.
On June 27, the State Grid Henan Zhengzhou Power Supply Company conducted drone inspections and visual monitoring of important transmission lines such as the 220 kV Zhengqi Line to monitor the operational status of the lines in real time. The company is fully prepared to meet the challenges of summer, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power grid and orderly power supply during the summer season.
It is reported that the maximum power load in the Zhengzhou area this summer is expected to reach 14.8 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%, which poses a significant test for power supply capacity. The State Grid Zhengzhou Power Supply Company strictly implements the decisions and deployments of the municipal party committee and government regarding summer power supply security, strengthens load management under government guidance, reasonably arranges the operation of the power grid, enhances real-time operational regulation of the grid, and precisely controls the load, working together with all parties to form a joint effort to ensure the safety of electricity for residents, important customers, and key locations during the summer.
In response to the high-temperature weather, the State Grid Zhengzhou Power Supply Company has recently carried out differentiated operation and maintenance of equipment, strengthened inspections of substation equipment, and conducted special inspections on heavily overloaded equipment to promptly identify and address equipment anomalies or defects. The company continues to enhance live testing of power supply equipment and the operation and maintenance management of important equipment such as large oil-filled devices and high-voltage switchgear, using detection methods such as ultrasonic partial discharge and transient earth voltage to monitor equipment operation in real time. So far, the company has dispatched 257 personnel, 73 vehicles, inspected 84 key lines, and conducted inspections at 112 substations.
To further improve the power supply capacity of the grid during the summer, the State Grid Zhengzhou Power Supply Company has identified a total of 36 summer projects, including infrastructure, distribution network, and technical upgrades. Currently, 35 projects have been completed, and the remaining projects are scheduled to be completed by the end of the month, continuously empowering the power grid for the summer.
